Understand Oil Viscosity Better

You know that motor oil helps your car run safely and that your car requires an oil with a specific viscosity rating. But what do motor oil viscosity ratings mean? We have the answer, here at our Hyundai maintenance center in Montgomery, AL.

Though gaskets can last a long time, eventually the wear and tear on these parts can cause a hole to form which can allow these fluids to mix or escape which could lead serious engine issues. How do Your Brakes Work?

Brakes are something that you hardly ever think about until something goes wrong. Your brakes use friction to overcome the energy generated by the car moving forward. When the driver pushes on the brake pedal, the lever pushes a piston into the master cylinder. The master cylinder is filled with hydraulic fluid. This multiplies the force of your foot and transfers it to the brake system. The hydraulic fluid causes the brake caliper to press the brake pad against the brake disc. This creates friction and heat in the brake pad.
