Fresh Brake Pads Help to Prevent Auto Accidents

Brake fluids help lubricate the system that helps keep the brakes working properly, but they do not lubricate the pads. This may seem odd since maintaining brake fluids helps keep the brake system working properly, but putting fluid on the wrong side of the pad would make the brakes less effective.

Brake pads are the part of the brake used to stop the car. The pad applies friction to the wheel, and friction supplies the force that slows the car down. Cars cannot stop on a dime, but they can slow down. If the car cannot slow down, catastrophic consequences may occur. Reduce your risk of getting into a preventable auto accident by replacing your worn-out brakes with a fresh set.
