The 2012 Hyundai Accent received a full redesign for this model year and now offers a more powerful (and efficient) engine, a four-door hatchback and an upgraded interior.
The 2012 Accent is offered in both compact 4-door sedan and 4-door hatchback body styles. The sedan is only available in the base trim, the GLS, while the hatchback has the options of the GS or SE trims. The GLS sedan comes with 14-inch wheels, power locks, trip computer and 4-speaker prep package audio system. Options include A/C, power windows & mirrors, and full audio system including CD player, satellite radio, AUX & iPod jacks. A GLS Premium package is offered with foglights, 16 inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, upgraded interior trim and more. The GS adds body-colored mirror and door handles, rear window wiper, and driver seat armrest.
Under the hood of the 2012 Hyundai Accent (sedan or hatchback) you'll find a 1.6L direct-injection four cylinder engine that produces 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque. Manual transmission is standard, but six-speed automatic transmission is optional. Recently, Capitol Hyundai Montgomery welcomed the 2013 Hyundai Accent to the showroom.
